We had a very unique experience on Sunday! We were asked to join an Ibrahimpatnam church picnic that included the hostel children--all 850 of them! It was held in a big mango orchard, and it was wonderful! They brought the food in ginormous pots--the rice was served with a paddle-like shovel! Everyone sat on the ground on blankets and just enjoyed the time together. We got to meet 3 of the children sponsored by Northern New England people. Our teenage girls had a blast making new friends of the students!
